It was a nice experience of studying financial statements in college. The most important part was to understand the implications of the various transactions on these statements. The overall topics of finance gave us a broad overview of the financial heath of the company. I always feel there should be a tool wherein we can have a quick recap of our understanding of the various topics we have studied earlier. For example the concept of accounting principle which is helpful in making the posting of the various business transactions.
